Power Of Silence!

I like this policy of making friendship with reality.

Yes, I learnt that in a hard way and still trying to perfect it!

Because, It may not be possible to convince others that they have done wrong. Unfortunately sometimes (some) people don’t even want to accept the reality. You might probably be dealing with someone who doesn’t even want to understand Or even pretending that they have NOT understood you.

“For those who understand no explanation is needed. For those who do not understand no explanation is possible.”

When you do good karma irrespective of the end result or any such expectations then in the first place you have the mental satisfaction that you have done something good.

Such a feeling should be a good motivating factor for you to keep the ball rolling against all the odds. If you are a dedicated professional and also believe in your work nothing on the earth could stop you from getting your work noticed resulting in your success over a period of time.

But that is a long term path, And you need to survive the day to day pains! before achieving that…How would you do that ? Remember, Staying motivated at all points of time makes sure that success is within your reach.

It is better to be preferably silent in such occasions while you are forced to deal with such people so that at least you could carry on with your work without getting disturbed beyond a certain level and do your best and come out! That “inner peace” should never be allowed to disturb.

Why?

I will elaborate on that.

Getting upset with people or situations is not going to be helpful for us in the first place, It just erodes our mental strength more than anything else and brings in more negativity.

Yes,….It is important to observe silence and think for sometime when actually you feel like exploding. Maybe that will bring a fresh perspective.

When you resort to going silent , What happens? Then, you are able to plan well your strategy and react than acting on an impulse which might bring more harm than any good.(Yes, plan well and take enough precautions such that we don’t get into trouble)
There are certain times in your working life when you realize the power and effectiveness of such a silence by just doing your work and completing it successfully and then coming out. Remember, we all like to safeguard our working life from all kind of unwanted problems!

Even just a plain look with all that emotions written down on your face would have helped to save the situation and get over the stress of having to explain all that to make others understand your state of mind.(I agree that the world is not that smooth yet! Also agree that this could not be used at all points of time. We need to elaborate many a times). But the beauty of this tool couldn’t be ignored. Sometimes distancing yourself from an argument is the best form of the rebuttal.
“When people fail to understand you it is better to be quiet rather than making them realize again and again”

Yes, “Silence is a place of great power and healing”.(I would also like to term this as “trying to isolate from all that is undesirable", though it is theoretical, I like this quote.. “Give yourself permission to feel pain, anger, resentment …Relax, then let it go”)
So keep up the good work and never stress over what you can’t control.

Focus on doing THE best in the first place. Make sure that nothing is left to chances while doing work. Though sometimes it helps to also allow others to take credit so that you might borrow some later!

“Sometimes one creates a dynamic impression by saying something, and sometimes one creates as significant an impression by remaining silent”.
Let us focus on the possibilities and eliminate our obsession and fear about things that may or may not take place. Embrace the adventure of living!…..

Forget the bad, and focus on the good.

Good luck
